Does this mean we can ask questions about Epstein again?
This sounds like an excellent suggestion. #SpeakerCrockett
Simple, low-cost solutions to make our world better.
Yes. Next, describe Bibi and Putin.
Thanks, this is helpful. Now can anyone tell me what Kiki is?
Let's look for the good. We need every bit we can get.
Tweet from Lindsay Graham in 2016 stating "If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed.......and we will deserve it."
I'm looking forward to the day when y'all elect a real blue wave and we can trot out the only quote dear old Lindsay got right:
All white American Bulldog tin a pink hoodie
I'm going to have to learn how to crochet to make one of these for Crisscross Applesauce.
Dumbasstic Lark?
White American Bulldog cross asleep on her back.
The face of an American Bulldog cross, eyes closed, sound asleep.
Day Two of having Miss Crisscross Applesauce with us. She's lying beside/on me on the couch, sound asleep and snoring. Love, love, love this sweet precious girl.
They are much smarter than most people realize. That sentence doesn't need "realize."
Oh no. I'm a retired professional dog trainer. Three years ago, I had to say goodbye to three of my dogs in the space of 11 months. I just didn't have it in me to do it again. I was just feeling the itch of "yes, maybe it's time to start looking" and within 15 minutes, this beauty popped up.
That's how the rescue delivered her to me - brand new collar, brand new jacket - she arrived in style!
What a great face!
So far, she seems to respond to Crissy and CC, although I think that's because she lived with a dog named CC in her foster trainer's house. I love her name so much I'm just using it - plus Crissy, plus CC, and Apple, and Criss Cross, and making up goofy songs with all those words in 'em, because...
I wish I could take credit, but that's how she came. It was a big factor in me submitting an application for her!
Great rule. I'm a retired dog trainer, and I used to tell people it would take 3 months to see the "real" dog, but I like this explanation a lot better!
Maybe so. But this is how the rescue delivered her to me. And given that it was -23 degrees below Celsius yesterday, I'm okay with a little precaution.
That made me laugh out loud! Thank you.
Someone else mentioned it here, so I looked it up. I'm a retired professional dog trainer, and I had never heard that formula before - we always just referred to the transition period as "the behavioural bends," a la scuba diving. I love the ease of the rule though.
They say she's an American Bulldog mix. A little smaller and more muscular. By her looks, I expected there was some Boxer in her, but her energy levels tell a different story. She is one lazy girl! (To be fair, she's been here barely a day and a half. Time will tell.)
That was the name she came with. It's one of the reasons I applied to adopt her!
The stuffie next to her is supposed to be a vinyl record - The Rolling Bones. Love it!
Yes, every time I even think of her name, that song immediately follows. I'd like to try putting her clothes on backwards next.
Two minutes and twenty three seconds well spent.
Wow! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Have you considered fostering? I never did because I knew they'd all be foster fails and I'd end up with a house full of dogs, but it would be a way for you to have a dog in your life temporarily, while they wait for their forever home.
