Hope everyone can clock out a few hours early today and sit on the porch and chill for a bit
I've got the 2011-ish repress of that, besides Necklace of Heads this was the last one I didn't have on LP!
Damn, Dischord also finally repressed Lungfish's "Artificial Horizon" on vinyl!
Other amazing stuff on Bandcamp: Nina Nastasia has been posting various outtakes and unreleased songs, including some great outtakes from the session for her first LP "Dogs"
Pretty sure this is the same version that was released on Bandcamp, and there was only one '92 session w/ Albini. Might be different takes/mixes that got bootlegged though vs. what we just got, @joegross.bsky.social is probably the best expert on this since he literally wrote the book on Killtaker
"With news of the latest Fugazi report this morning, stock in JCM800s and room mics are at their highest levels since 1995"
Whoa! Did not expect to see this ever get an official release!
Whoβs ready to get PUMPED and JAZZED withβ¦Lowβs βSunflowerβ?!?!
He had a soul?
Just based on the trailer it seemed like exactly the kind of thing that's going to completely bomb at the box office then become a huge cult thing for Today's 13 year olds and get reassessed in 10 years
It's cool that MG decided to go for broke w/ her 2nd feature instead of just making a Marvel movie...but The Bride does not look like what I'd expect as her follow up to The Lost Daughter (which I liked quite a bit)
Those OG Alice Cooper Band albums are great, like somehow "Broadway MC5" shouldn't work but it did for a good 4-5 albums!
Fog machine and Sunn Model T half stacks come with that robe?
Yep!
VideoHEAVEN damn it!
Ahhh so Alex Ross Perryβs βVideohavenβ doc is basically βVideo Stores Play Themselvesβ, I could easily watch three more hours of this
Cinnamon roll was probably too spicy for him
STREET ANGER!!!!
I slightly prefer how RTL sounds, but this is definitely the best collection of songs James/Kirk/Cliff wrote and Lars arranged
Definitely the best Sunn album he could have pulled out for us to listen to during dinner!
The record toddler guy pulled out last night to put on the turntable during dinner. He liked the cover and was really stoked on the blue vinyl spinning! sunn.bandcamp.com/album/metta-...
Steeve Keene painting of a Steve Keene painting!
Like watching a piece of pizza fall off your plate straight onto the floor
Entire discography only available on a 2x7" cut at 33 RPM that still somehow has 35 songs
I really only know him from the Miles records (and I guess I actually know some of these songs from being on Water Babies), but definitely need to dig into his own records!
Somehow never came across this album before. Sonny on the left channel, McLaughlin on the right, both absolutely recognizable in seconds
