When I find a photo with weird lighting in my camera roll I am cursed with the compulsion to make a study of it. Fur is kind of fun to paint tho.

I have not been able to sleep well ever since Kellerman et al. 2025 (the Tameryraptor paper) suggested that this specimen (NCSM 14345) of Acrocanthosaurus may not be the same animal as the holotype.

Literally the only thing from the movie that I still see being talked about and posted is the Spinosaurus - and that itself is is because it coincided with a year of other media containing Spinosaurus and it got lucky with the timing.

Was at my uncle's home for a belated holiday celebration and there was a squirrel here.
This is the first time in my life I've seen a squirrel in-person. These aren't supposed to be in Luzon (We do have squirrels but they should be restricted to Mindanao) so this one is invasive, it seems.

Got myself the Hammond Collection Spinosaurus as my Christmas gift.

Lesmesodon edingeri, a cat sized Hyaenodont from the #Messel Pit. We only have 4 fossils from this species, all still suckling age. Would be an early horse’s nightmare as an adult though (dissection in thread) #sciart (done in 2021)
