Actually, this one might be more Star Blazers-y. I shall check it out.

I am looking forward to Argo-0, which is the space opera version evoking Ulysses 31 and Star Blazers. It is nice and a little weird to find oneself at the centre of a very specific target audience.
Structurally, it's perfect for a mini-campaign, which is how I shall run it in future. I think the formal adventure structure would become same-y in a longer campaign.
I ran AGON yesterday - a Greek myth TTRPG about a voyage through mist-shrouded islands in a mythic sea.
It's tremendously evocative. Conflicts are short, punchy and declarative, as heroes stand forth to test their mettle against foes of legend.
Only reasonable explanation.
Mildly spooky experience: the light at my back door doesn't work. A light bulb broke in the socket, and I've not been able to get it out.
Two nights ago the light was on. It went off and on again when I flipped the switch.
Now, it's not working again.
I keep getting a popup saying my copilot licence has expired and I must renew my subscription.
It should be annoying, but honestly it makes me smile every time I close the box.
I answered in the Other Place, but a friend is bringing out this one:

An image of a hand holding a book, while the same book is open on the edge of a flat surface in the background, the pages facing down, and the back cover hanging down. The front cover reads: "Midnight in Jubilation. By Dorian Blackwood." The central image is of a silhouetted figure falling away from a large, black moon. There are angular lines behind them, also in black.

Is that any good?
... but that said, S1 pays homage to classic sci-fi. S2 pays homage to classic sci-fi, where that sci-fi is Trek.
Well if silly doesn't appeal to you I don't know what to tell you.
If I am recommending Trek to a non-Trek person, it's season one of Strange New Worlds.
Depends a lot on how you feel about magic university tropes and implausibly pretty people.
I'm watching it because it's Trek, though, and can't easily judge.
Starfleet Academy just set a text for the audience.
Gawain the green knight opening a letter sealed with wax
Little Alex Horne in his studio chair with the caption "so a simple task: land a fair blow anywhere on the green knight. One year later meet him at the green chapel, receive the same blow yourself."
A cut to a wider shot showing Greg Davies in his throne turning to Little Alex Horne subtitled "Well surely no one just ran up and whanged his head clean off."
Cut back to Little Alex Horne subtitled "Let's see Gawain first."
Looks like the original has been swept away by the sands of time.

16 years ago I did a single-page story called "The Process," and only much later that I realized I was just describing the ADHD thought process... ๐

Keming jokes are the best jokes.
Is Picard even canon?
I've heard some real horror stories. And I'm still at the stage of being shocked at the lack of basic functionality.
Wait, that's not true. I can't count a job I applied for yesterday, however.
...and I know all of this is "white collar middle class professional discovers how bad we all get treated", but this is so very, very bad. So unprofessional. So embarrassingly incompetent.
It looks like I can only use Workforce Australia job applications towards my mutual obligations, not actual job applications.
"Your estimated wait time is more than... 3 hours."
The digital assistant can't parse sentences.
I'm sorry anyone has to put up with this bullshit.
What a bloody nightmare. No stars. This system barely has minimum functionality, let alone the functionality to meet its promise.
The "industry" field doesn't seem to include government.
