Hmm! That's a great point.
007: First Light & Hitman, duh.
Was 2014's Assassin's Creed: Unity the first big internet dogpile on a game? Or maybe 2013's DmC: Devil May Cry?
Anyway Unity has a 60 FPS patch now! Experience flavor country: www.gamespot.com/articles/the...
The premium indie scene has basically made proper spiritual sequels to all the banger millennial franchises EXCEPT for the character-focused narrative stealth action game.
Could be speaking out of ignorance, but I don't see a modern Assassin's Creed / Splinter Cell / Metal Gear Solid out there.
Brave opinion alert - Assassin's Creed Unity was great and the last classic Assassin's Creed game.
Syndicate was basically Victorian Batman (still fun though). Origins pivoted the series to something else, and even the "throwback" Mirage was really just throwing back to Origins.
Look at how pretty this danish is
Yesssssss it's amazing!
The Mavis Beacon was used by pilots to navigate the Atlantic.

Bonus film is Resident Evil: Vendetta which has the clip you've likely seen of Chris Dark Soulsing around in a gunfight. It rules.
Movies start at 6PM PST!

That's a great point! It'd be pretty surreal if my family asked me about any of those shows.
Life is slowly changing from an exciting, unknown mystery to a known quantity.
It feels serene with small pangs of existential terror.

Intro video is great so at least you'll have that!
Ugh.
If this show has some real ball slapping action then maybe? But I don't need live action versions of the cutscenes I've already seen.
I'm a media curmudgeon though. The novelty and validation of VG adaptations wore off long ago.
Watching the truly unimaginative try and put words to the feelings they've convinced themselves they must be feeling is so special.
