n8n progress #12:
Fixed the PR so it only includes the changes that were actually made, no more random files getting removed.
Now just sorting the commit title and a proper PR description so future-me can actually follow what happened.

My first PR attempt looked like a mass delete because the diff had incomplete data. Scared me, but I caught it, fixed it, and added checks so it canβt happen again.

I split the AI task into its own workflow so I can reuse it in future automation projects. Clear boundaries make testing faster and debugging easier, which is always a win.

I tried to get AI to do everything by giving it all GitHub tools it might need and it didnβt work. Going to hold the AIβs hand, Iβll fetch and handle files/commits myself so the AI just focuses on the code changes needed.

Iβm testing a lightweight AI decision step that flags whether a task the report suggests is AIβdoable or needs a human. Just a quick filter so only AIβfriendly items get handed to later stages.

Lightbulb moment this week: my homelabβs stable and Iβve got a ChatGPT API keyβ¦ so I installed Open WebUI.
Now Iβm testing going API-only. For how I use it, GPT-5 mini/nano is plenty and pay-as-you-go should be cheaper.

Pro Reset Game is live on the Unity Asset Store β
It got rejected first pass, turns out they wanted more/clearer screenshots than I expected.
Added a few more images, resubmitted, accepted.

I cleaned up the SEO report so each line maps to the right page. It was messy before, now I can actually understand it and turn it into a real toβdo list (and eventually automate it).

Learning SEO and n8n by tinkering. I grabbed a n8n SEO template as a base, now the plan is to get it running and adapt it to my setup, and if it works, move toward automating basic SEO tasks.

Home Lab Overhaul - Part 30: Finished!
Started this on Nov 5. Thought itβd be a couple weekends, it turned into months. π
But the home lab is finally in the βit just runsβ state.
Next bit: n8n automations. First clean login is up, and Iβm ready to start.

SSD cache has been live a few days now. Writes jumped from ~270 to ~400, but reads actually dropped from ~830 to ~740. Hit rates are low (9% read, 15% write), but day-to-day editing still feels snappier. Early days, but still a win.
