If you're after a Christmas picturebook that will be adored from Reception to Year 6, you can't go wrong with How Does Santa Go Down the Chimney? by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen. Funny, surreal and extremely entertaining.

Personally I think that a great starting point for discussions on 'what do we do about SEND in education?' is to go back to the Salamanca Statement and remember what 'inclusion' originally meant. The way that the system itself works has become the cause of exclusion for many CYP imho.

I don’t know about you, but I’m still sort of processing that the US president stood up in the UN and declared that London is about to be under Sharia law, and the response has been “actually, that won’t happen” rather than “Jesus, that is insane.”
