The crazy part of all the Trump stuff in that the majority of his actions/ wants will overwhelmingly hurt his base. FEMA goes more to red states. NOAA benefits the hurricane affected areas a lot (red states). DOEd money goes mostly to red states. Immigration reform will hurt const & farms in red

For the DoD I call this the dark side of lift and shift. It’s let do the bare minimum to get into the cloud and we’ll modernize later.

The way I have excelled in my career is bc I have the ability to “shoot straight” and tell leadership/ customers bluntly what they need to hear, not what they want.

That being said, I’m 99% positive if I was put in the same room as Trump, it would result in my firing.

I honestly believe the best way for the Dems to recover is to meet Americans where they are. And by that I mean speaking in a normal American way.

Ex: When Trump says something ignorant, interrupt him and call him on it, like, “what the fuck are you talking about. That’s a lie”.

I believe in college. Learning how to learn, IMO, is a critical life skill. Being exposed to people of different backgrounds, makes yiu wiser
