I often think of policy work as essentially plumbing: The job is to know how pipes work so you can make them do their job better.
Thanks Tyler, you have really done something worthwhile these last few years. We appreciate it.
Underrated
Could be different factors in different regions. Productivity gains play an outsized role in the prairies. Capital improvements are important in MB and parts of central Canada. Urbanization plays a big role in Ontario and BC. Interest rates are important everywhere. Markets are small in maritimes.
BC also in tough shape

Thank you for showing off Saskatchewan. It makes me a little emotional to see it like this. What a special place.
Great picture 😂 we have all lived that moment.
Ottawa-Gatineau is also fabulous. Nobody does « à vélo » like Quebec
Get a sesame one just on its own after 🤤
NEW - The BC Government has passed Bill 15 by a vote of 47-46 with speaker Raj Chouhan being forced to break a tie. The bill is opposed by FN leaders, municipalities across the province and major business organize nation. #bcpoli

Probably my favourite Dickens. It’s a good time. And not so long!
I don’t recommend this one. Reread The Power and the Glory or The Quiet American. They never get old.
Im wrapping up a novel about a burnt out artist in a Leper colony. Obviously.
It’s his best work. Takes the mythos out of WWII and makes it feel like something that could happen in the real world. I think about it all the time.

BC Infrastructure Minister Bowinn Ma introduces Bill 15, Infrastructure Projects Act, in the BC legislature
Another new bill aimed at expediting projects in BC!
Bill 15 would allow cabinet to designate projects "provincially significant" if it believes they would "provide economic, environmental or social benefits to British Columbians" (among other powers)
Like Bill 14, it's a confidence vote #bcpoli
Go vote now!
Thanks for putting in the effort!
Vancouver by-election voting experience:
90 min down, about 30 min to go.
At least it’s a nice place to stand in line.
What can other communities and First Nations learn from Senak’w and the MST projects?
