I had to look up the timing, but I was lucky enough to work on Marathon for a bit over 2 and half years. From the early stages to when things really started clicking. Seriously an incredible and tight knit concept team and amazing world art team. Just some of the kindest and most talented folks.

nope, i tried and it was fine but i didnt feel comfy with it :D i do remember nargacugas 180° tail slam to be insanely fast and a one hit kill if you got caught, so satisfying.

insane art direction, insane hardcore campaign. i LOVED the mix of sci fi and mysticism, the ivory palaces and churches, the final boss battle with that mind place full of moth silk magic binding the traveler, proper chunky lore regarding the pyramids on top. it was SO inspired.

oh yeah, huge surprise, wonderful reprise with the tropical areas and still fun to see the origins of eco and stuff. I remember the bike sections in between biomes to be hard as nails in some parts

I really need to track down those community owned servers and play it again ♡♡

I played it just last fall but it just has the juice. Got three of its kotobukiya plamo kits. Wish they'd make a new game that is that fast and has lots of silly weirdo arms forts.

I've played it like 3 times so far with 3 or 5 years passing between playthroughs and each time there's a new part that I connect with and makes me cry like a newborn its insane.

Dark Souls 2 specifically is a pick, it has such a crusty umami.

And they're done! I'm so happy with how this turned out. I'm starting to feel a little more confident in being able to produce finished illustrations in traditional media, not just studies. 😊This is watercolor + gouache., with a little bit of color pencil and pastel for final touches.
