Fun fact, seems like the Crucial BU of Micron was blindsided by this too, at least from where I sit. I had a social media manager position interview with Crucial on November 25th, then Micron killed Crucial on December 3rd.

Starting up #EASkate now. Why is there kernal-level anticheat in this game?
One of the same "features" that stopped me from playing Ubisoft's Steep. These games simply do not need anticheat invasive to this level, they're not that competitive. Leave my PC alone and let me enjoy your game!

Virtual Desktop using any codec (AV1 runs best imo) combined with Steam VR, running games in OpenXR modes, with the PC hardwired to the router, the headset in wireless mode, works as well as any other PC VR solution.

I'm using an Oculus Quest 2 with a Sparkle Orc A580. Oculus Rift doesn't work as it doesn't officially support that GPU, but Virtual Desktop has no issues with it. Virtual Desktop is an extra $20 purchase, but worth it for its seamless operation.

Intel laid me off last year and that comes with a mix of emotions, but I still want #IntelArc graphics to succeed.
One shortcoming upon launch was the lack of official VR support - and I couldn't market β¨unofficialβ¨ support - but VR really does work well on A-series with the right config:

I'd love to rebuild the tech enthusiast community i had on "the ruined platform" instead of only using Bluesky for venting political frustration. Some tech & gaming posts coming soon!
This shit isn't a triumphant Reich installing their master plan, it's psychotic crackheads ripping the copper wiring out of the walls to try and find the Woke Machine that makes women not want to fuck them.
Next patch, for sure! Right, EA??
Welp, kinda fixed! At least it's improving.
Hahahaha noooooope, made it through Create-a-Sim but can't load lots. So uh, that's entirely game-breaking. EA, will you ever have a stable product on release?
Thanks to today's patch, #TheSims 1 Legacy is at least launching! Creating Sims now, fingers crossed for stability throughout the game.
Today's patch fixed TS1! Just getting (re)started now.
Drake is the all-time biggest loser of a rap feud and that includes people who have gotten shot and died as a result of rap feuds
At the very least we could find 200 more followers.
My wife's Sims 2 Legacy save has been a wild ride so far! I'm glad people will get to relive how chaotic these games are compared to the polished but almost-idyllic gameplay of TS4. Still waiting on an update to get TS1 Legacy to launch correctly, though.
The PC I'm running it on has an i9-9900K and an Nvidia RTX 2080, not an unusual config. Pressure to hit the series' 25th anniversary must have put compat testing behind.
But! What is working is a largely untouched re-release with some modern amenities like #ultrawide support. Looking forward to the mod scene and more official improvements.

#TheSims 1 & 2 Legacy launched today, and so far compatibility and stability are... well, a launch-day game from EA, so not good.
The Sims 2 introduced the #cowplant, which I built in #LEGO bricks. Still working on it, @lilsimsie.bsky.social - almost ready!

Yeah I'm fed up with social media elsewhere, until Jack and Jay and the team F up Bluesky, my LEGO stuff lives here:
zaxbrix.bsky.social
Zuck and the other oligarchs can shove it, here's my new dedicated spot for LEGO stuff:
zaxbrix.bsky.social
Millennials are no strangers to social media platforms rising and falling, what's another transition?
Now, do I make a second account here just for LEGO stuff?
Fuck the owner of X
and every boot he licks
Hey cool, a social media I feel like I can post on.
