I don't think there is a whole lot more terrifying in fantasy and scifi than the idea of altering peoples memories. It seems innocuous until you really think about the implications.

They are making a new Stargate show. I want them to cast the actor who played young Colonel O'Neil(Michael Welch) in the episode he was cloned to be a major character, recruited to lead a new team because he has all of Jack's memories and is still young enough to do the work.

I don't know that I would run 4th edition, but I do think it is worth getting for the amount of lore alone. Shadowrun books have always been pretty good reads.

To be clear, Kansas Republicans rushed through a confusing and disastrous bill, created a panic, and wasted untold number of tax dollars all to target 300 out of the nearly 3 million people in the state.
It is not much, but I will take what victories I can get.
If you looked at the advertising for Starfleet Academy and checked out because it looked too 90210, I do get it but you are missing out on some really good trek. This weeks episode is such a good episode dealing with grief and trauma and it was simply lovely.

I had a good friend hacked on Discord today. It is not the only one that has happened in recent weeks. Turn on your multi factor authentication people. It makes a difference.
Again, not advocating it, just not going to be surprised when it happens.
At some point, someone will start hunting billionaires for sport. I don't advocate or approve of violence unless in direct defense, but it does seem inevitable that someone is just going to bring it to that level because of all the indirect violence billionaires inflict on everyone else.
11. The Zimmermann Incident was a Lovecraftian one-shot LARP run at Dragon*Con, many many years ago. I remember playing a legbreaker for @jeremiahmccoy.bsky.social's mob boss PC, and I remember some of the incredible props they had built for the game. Including a Mythos-adjacent electric chair!
