One of the makers I used to collect is discontinuing one of her lines due to the price of sterling. Pandora is going to use platinum instead of sterling in some of their new designs. Prices are bonkerssss.
Yeahhh. It's not impossible to find really good deals on sterling, but you're sourcing curated picks for your customers and repairing some of your finds. That's not gonna be cheap!!!

Did a reading of Tom Stoppard's *Arcadia* this evening. I always forget how deeply moving it is while also being hilarious. I would love to direct this one day because I find every single character fascinating.
It *might* be rhodium plated sterling but I can't find a marking.
It's the kind of thing that is only worth anything because of the label and only to a collector.
It won't be worth anything in terms of material because it's costume so a regular jeweler probably wouldn't know. It would have to be someone with experience in designer fashion jewelry.
