Nice to see the long offensive rebounds TN kept getting in the first half finally evening out toward the end. Much improved effort on D and we finally hit the open shots. Would still like to see more motion & less booty ball, but it drew the double teams & left our shooters open, good for tonight.

Illinois played hard, but couldn't get open looks to fall. I did like the defense in the second half, especially when we started pressuring late. With such a deep bench, why aren't we pressing more? We force almost no turnovers while teams like Alabama and UConn pick our pockets.

Serious question here: Will the latest signings lead to transfers out (e.g., Rodgers, Jakstys) or decommissions (Lee, Wagler)? We have great depth now and would hate to lose anyone. (And yes, I'm still upset with Jens Kujawa.)
