Exactly! They did extremely well and won so much.

I think you’re just too toxic to talk to. I’m so sorry you are the way that you are. Get well soon.

You’re putting words in my mouth. I said that they CAN not they SHOULD.

It’s also just your opinion. I think it’s a sad one. They literally did not get a participation trophy they got an Olympic medal. They’re forever Olympic medalists. I think you should reflect on whether “winner take all everyone else is a loser” attitude is the best we can aspire to as humanity.

22.02.2026 20:55 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0

Honestly this “first loser” crap is toxic. You can keep that.

22.02.2026 20:45 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Well I completely disagree with you that they should feel like losers for all their accomplishments. If that’s how elite sports “works” that’s an awful way to operate. I feel they have permission to take joy in their accomplishments. But if they want to be miserable like you said that’s their right.

22.02.2026 20:44 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

I just think it’s really a shame they can’t find any joy today. Is there only joy in victory. They won a medal. They won lots of games. They’re really good. How can their only emotion be sadness. Something is wrong there. These are games; games are supposed to be fun. Maybe too much pressure.

Guys you could crack a smile for getting a medal even if it’s not the colour you wanted. Canada is still proud of you! 🥈

Gen Z is facing the worst youth unemployment rate in decades. Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

I am sensitive to artificial scents (perfumes, cleaning products, etc.) and get almost instant headaches. I would think those in the health care industry would be more aware.

Dartmouth woman calls on Nova Scotia Health to crack down on scented products | CBC News A Dartmouth woman wants Nova Scotia Health to step up enforcement around the use of scented products in its facilities after she said being exposed to them triggered asthma attacks.

“No scents makes sense” has been around for over 30 years it’s ridiculous this is still a problem. Scent free products are readily available, and once you eliminate the horrible chemical stench from your life you really notice it when someone uses them.

Pushing, yelling from Conservative leadership ‘sealed the deal’ on defection: d’Entremont | CBC News Nova Scotia MP Chris d’Entremont says pushing and yelling from Conservative Party leadership ‘sealed the deal’ on his choice to cross the floor to the Liberals earlier this week.

They deny it but it seems in character for the current crop of conservatives to yell & be violent. They lack emotional intelligence, self control. The fact they have turned to shunning & name-calling shows the Conservative Party is an immature & disrespectful workplace.

Periodic reminder that public health in Canada, provincially and Federally, was explicitly told about long COVID in 2020. They knew quite a lot. They received frequent high-quality info. And they said nothing to workers or the public.
