When Elon took over, Twitter quickly became a place where people on the left that spoke out were attacked, harassed, defamed, and bullied into silence. People on the sidelines stayed silent, for fear of being targeted as well. Trolls, 4channers, and the other worst of the right wingers felt emboldened by the complete lack of moderation and encouragement from Elon. This place HAS to be different. We can't let it happen again. We can't sit by complacently because we've become used to it over there. Speak up. Speak out. Block them on sight. Make sure they know hate isn't welcome here. Help create a space where the most vulnerable of us, POC, LGBTQ+ people, women, neurodivergent people, disabled people, and others feel safe. We have to stand with each other.

my mental health got a lot worse today and I don't feel like it's going to be better. The only solution for me is going to the hospital, I need professional help to stay alive.
