A view just outside the Newton Food Center at night, in the parking lot. The courtyard building can be seen on the right with its the bright lights of the food stalls. Beyond the row of trees surrounding it is a string of hanging "Christmas" lights. Beyond that, slightly on the other side of the parking lot, are additional strings of lights, these ones multicolored.

The Newton Food Center at night, brightly lit by various tall street lamps scattered throughout the courtyard. Food stalls line the inner walls, with many occupied tables scattered throughout the courtyard itself. Slightly above the encircling building, just beyond the occasional palm trees, are many strings of multicolored lights lining the outer perimeter.

A cluster of monstera plants, with their easily-recognizable large, perforated leaves, large and plentiful enough that they cover multiple square meters of ground in total.

Large birds of paradise, towering above the photographer, with their incredibly large, long leaves reaching out in all directions.

I found both monstera and bird of paradise plants out in the wild! Both plants I have growing at home. Only mine are not nearly this massive and beautiful xD

Singapore is incredibly green, even in dense areas. It's a pretty good benefit of being so hot and wet for the whole year.
