Any of y'all have a favorite dice tray?
Thinking about finally getting one, but want something easy to toss in the nerd stuff backpack and take with.
#DnD #RPG #TTRPG
Whatcha gonna do?
Vacation, you say?
Sounds like you were trying to ... ration-alize some stuff.
Blueberry is a type of damage in D&D 5e, and Bear Totem Barbarians are resistant to it.
Oh look, a GM
Once again have fallen asleep listening to an audiobook and must spend time searching for the correct spot to resume.
Keep it up dude. Awesome stuff.
Not enough aperture for your asspicture...
The plot is slightly out of focus.
This entire post is extremely you.
Have been hearing hype for Stormlight Archives for a long while, so finally decided to read it, but it was a struggle.
Really enjoyed Mistborn (both eras), Elantris, and the various Sanderson novellas but had to fight tooth and nail to get through this one.
There we go
Resisting looking at the KS and spending money that should be allocated elsewhere.
Still running weekly DnD sessions but usually poke through other systems to plan future projects and explore other options.
In the mood for hard sci-fi and started flipping through #CoriolisRPG. It's... gah... want to like it but the layout and formatting make it a slog.
Consider: Night Cheese...Fries
The hour is late as five DnD players crawl into their beds after a long session.
Alone at the table, a GM sheds a tear while erasing the dungeon from the vinyl battlemap... bittersweet feelings swell because the group got so caught up on backstories and roleplay in town they only explored one room.
It's not science fiction...
The GM is over here working out the geopolitical turmoil of an entire region and the balance of a three-way fight between deities... you can at least figure out why you're on an adventure (or make your own deer puns).
Was aware that a few players had used AI art for character images, but that was whatever...
...but in a single session, ChatGPT wrote the Paladin's shout as he used Vow of Enmity, the Druid's pun about shifting into an elk, and the Monk's wise teaching when someone asked about his monastery.
Heh
Can't believe "No ChatGPT at the DnD table please" is a houserule that needs considering... but here we are.
Living your best life
Oh... that doesn't mean Assassin's Creed. Whoops.
Just ended up with the starter set for Dragonbane and excited to learn more about it.
Silly nitpick, but the narrator of this audiobook says H. U. D. every time instead of HUD, and it's oddly immersion breaking.
And it's a sci-fu book that constantly mentions things on the heads-up display...
What's your favorite pantheon to use in DnD campaigns?
Examples:
Pick a rose and leave it at the mayor's door.
(Which led to accusations of an affair)
Break spokes on the wheels of the wagon at the inn.
(Which delayed a caravan and guards)
Buy a specific person drinks for an hour
(Which will make them late to a meeting about forming a guild alliance)
Have launched the aforementioned Nentir Vale DnD 5e campaign starting with Reavers of Harkenwold and leading into homebrew sandbox stuff.
Have a Pact of the Fiend Warlock and am looking for little favors with adverse consequences that the patron may ask of them.
