My main motivation is to run some guilt free AI experiments. Pushing a few ideas:

1. How can we self host AI language models?
2. How can we push the boundaries of small computing devices?
3. How can we consider our energy usage as indie tech art explorers?
4. Why not small language models?

I’ve been slowly and patiently been building a small solar powered server since January 2025. The process has been humbling not in the sense that the technology has defeated me but in context of realising how much energy we waste to host simple websites.
