I had a rough day yesterday. I’m a little better today. Thanks to everyone who chimed in with kind words. Special thanks to a good friend who took time out from their own worries to chat and just be kind. You know who you are.

Wow. You just popped up in a repost. Looking through your feed, and damn, magnificent art style! So clean, so sharp, love the shapes, the flats, all of it. :)

I miss when corporations had no clue what the hell they were doing on the internet, posting goofy web sites crammed with fancy animations and effects that took forever to load. You’d look at it for 30 seconds, then leave and instantly forget it ever existed

I get that it’s a dice roll. I try to improve my odds sometimes with a hot shower just before, or a really satisfying lunch, when time and the fates allow it. It annoys me just how much drinking a simple glass of water can make me feel better, too.

Afternoon naps are like finding health packs in a video game, for me

Every comic I’ve ever drawn has taken a chunk of my health with it. Every cartoonist should be a millionaire for the amount of effort you have to put in.

That flute is going to live in my head rent free for the rest of my life...

My fashion goal is Large Marge, honestly

I’ve been using Linux Mint on a 15 year old laptop for about a month, and honestly, it’s been great, especially for such old hardware. I can’t do everything, but I can do a *lot*. My next pc build is going to be Linux based, and I’ve got to thank Windows 11 for being so awful that I made the switch!

I remember reading Stan Lee talking about ‘the illusion of change’ in superhero comics, how nothing ever really moves forward, how every story ends up just being a trailer for the next one. He seemed really amused by that.
