Inktober 14! Castle!
Inktober 13! Rise. This is one area where mice have horses beat. I'm amazed those kids don't strap in or have really aggressive stirrups ๐
Inktober 12! Spicey!
Inktober 11! Wander. Not a huge fan of this one, but win some lose some!
Inktober 10! Fortune. A bunny fortune. It's carrots. It's always carrots.
Eda! It's time for your potion! EDA!!!
Edaโs owl beast for inktober day 9! Go watch #TheOwlHouse
Thanks! It's coming along, for sure.
Inktober 9! Bounce.
Yep. They bounce.
Boing.
Inktober 8! Tooooooooooooad
Thanks, man! I think this is my fav so far, too
Thanks! Capybaras are always friggin' awesome
Inktober 7! Drip!
Drip is a capybara. Very noble.
Inktober 6! Golden (as in golden fields). Not a huge fan of this one, but win some lose some!
Ever since my brother brought home a bootleg VHS from animation school it's been Laputa. I miss the older dubbed version compared to the Disney version, though ๐
After Laputa it's probably Castle of Cagliostro!
Thank, man! Now I wish I'd included a punk rock hamster of some kind ๐
Happy #kidlitartpostcard day! I'm a freelance illustrator from BC who just finished his first book (wrote and illustrated!) I also just learned that I get to write and illustrate two more! Hooray!
Inktober 5! Map!
Inktober 4: Dodge! I'm pretty sure a riding mouse would be pretty skittish.
Inktober 3! Giant rodents. Giant rodents everywhere. But, like, in a good way.
inktober day 2! It's either relocate the spiders or deal with all the bird carcasses left behind in the ears. Gross.
Inktober! Giant bunnies! Westerns! Fun!
More doodles. Milk. Blech.
Anyone else remember puking/peeing/fluiding your clean clothes at school and the only clothing in the lost and found being terrible, awful, nasty, sometimes incredibly brightly coloured rags that you REALLY didn't wanna wear?
Monsieur Lambert. Friendly Quebecois custodian. Very tall. Secretly a highlander, no doubt.
I don't think his middle name is mentioned in the book anymore, but here's Teddy and evil Teddy. Dealing with brain eating hamsters is hard enough without clinical anxiety and an evil doodle in your head.
Thanks for posting this! I'll give it a shot :)
The other poor unfortunate souls of Ravensbarrow Elementary. Also hamsters. Because hamsters. Mmmmm hamsters.
Sketches of middle grade school kids.
Poor, poor Duggy. Surrounded by evil hamsters and older kids who enjoy messing with him. I'm pretty sure this sketch scene had an effect on the kids' relationships through the whole book ๐
