Zoomerang was found outside our shelter, surviving with a rare condition called eyelid agenesis. Despite every effort, the damage to her eyes was too severe.

And then, the kitten who once struggled to survive found where she was meant to be all along. Her foster fell in love.💕

These lucky pups found their families at the Humane Society of Charlotte over the weekend! They have officially traded kennel doors for front doors, and waiting for forever love with wagging tails and happy hearts.

Orianna made and sold 70 dog and cat toys, which helped her raise $650. Her goal was to purchase pet supplies off of our Amazon Wish List, which she then delivered in person. 🥲

“I started volunteering with HSC in July 2025 after moving to Charlotte. I wanted to give back, be around animals, and heal after losing a pet.

My most memorable moment? When Quiche jumped into my lap at a meet and greet and came home with me."
