The Raiders are trading star edge Maxx Crosby to the Ravens for pick No. 14 and additional compensation, per me and @tompelissero.bsky.social. A blockbuster.
A new home for Crosby and a true rebuild for Las Vegas.
The Bills are releasing S Taylor Rapp, who started 24 games for Buffalo. A cap-clearing day.
Joe Mixon requested his release Thursday, per source, and was granted it today. The move saves the Texans $8 million against the cap.

Washington is re-signing WR Treylon Burks on a 1-year deal worth up to $4 million
Per Ian Rapoport
They'll keep doing this because suing them isn't going to cost them their own money, just taxpayers'. It's so infuriating. None of these things are getting charged to the orange turd, but to us.
Watching all these teams scramble to get under the cap by releasing quality players.
LT Taylor Decker requested and will be released by the Lions.
Status Update on potential Patriots RFAs
Alex Austin and Yasir Durant - Will not be tendered
Tommy Devito - Extended
Jack Gibbens and Jaquelin Roy - No reported news.
The Patriots avoid Tommy Devito becoming a RFA on the 11th and make him a possible trade target.
The Eagles and teams involved in A.J. Brown trade discussions want the situation resolved in the next couple of days so they can move on to the rest of their offseason planning and identify other players on their wishlists.
Awesome to see him stick around. Gotta love the vibes and the fact he has starting experience.
A DOJ source says FBI agents found the woman who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her as a child to be credible:
"They would not have interviewed her four times if they thought she was lying."
The Philadelphia Eagles are holding firm on their steep asking price for A.J. Brown. While the New England Patriots have poked around on it, the Los Angeles Chargers are another team keeping tabs on the situation, per sources.
Maxx Crosby is drawing serious interest around the league. The Dallas Cowboys are closely monitoring the situation and remain very interested, while the Baltimore Ravens are also a team to watch. GMs believe the Las Vegas Raiders are willing to work on a deal.

There. Is. A. Pattern. 👀
In terms of prioritization, value, and age, Pierce would be the guy I go all-in for. Hendrickson is nice, but I feel like an edge player in the draft is the better path at the moment.
"One week. Maybe a couple of weeks. Maybe a few months. Maybe my next term. Maybe never. But eventually...we may start winning."
Alright, I'm all in on Pierce. I've talked myself into it.
I just want people to realize that typically the risks in signing the most expensive wideout in this year’s 2026 FA class is not as risky as Steve and others believe.
Why?
1. Cap keeps on going up
2. Typical structure of a Patriots deal making it easy to get out of a deal in the latter years

Bills making all the wrong moves this offseason, gotta love it.
Per Adam Schefter, the Bills decided to guarantee $15.5 million of DJ Moore's *2028* salary.
This was already a bad trade for Buffalo given Moore's contract as it was but throwing in 2028 fully guaranteed money just because is bizarre and makes the deal worse.
DJ Moore signed a four-year, $110 million extension prior to the 2024 season. Then he had a disappointing year in 2024 and a worse year in 2025.
You would think his stock would have dropped dramatically. But the contract the Bills are taking on is not that much cheaper...
COMPENSATION UPDATE:
The Bills are sending a 2026 2nd round pick to the Bears in exchange for D.J. Moore and a 2026 5th round pick.
