It reads like someone experiencing reactive methamphetamine psychosis. It's terrifying to read.

We now live in a science fiction short story collection from 1971.
Yup, especially when you mix it with "productivity" drugs. 😁
I wrote about how Geoff Lewis, one of OpenAI’s long running investors, has sparked concern among peers who believe he may be facing a public mental health episode brought on by ChatGPT.

BREAKING: After violating Senate rules yesterday, Senate Judiciary Republicans were forced to list five U.S. Attorney nominations again for consideration next week—including that of election denier and January 6 apologist Jeanine Pirro.
These Central Valley farm workers are hard at work harvesting tomatos. This involves a lot of bending, reaching, and carrying heavy loads. This is very hard on the body - especially on days like this day where highs reached 100°. #WeFeedYou
Today, 18 July, the EU imposed sanctions on those responsible for grave human rights violations and threats to peace in Sudan. Measures include asset freezes, funding restrictions, and EU travel bans.

The transatlantic partnership deserves a negotiated solution, meaningful for both sides.
Any final outcome must thus work for businesses on both sides - this is what the EU Commission continues to pursue.
Concerted, genuine efforts on both sides can get us across the finish line.

Senator Capito (R-WV) just announced that OMB Director Russ Vought informed her this funding is finally being released. While I am relieved to hear this news, this fire drill, once again, shouldn't have taken place to begin with. Our schools, teachers, and kids should never be used as an ultimatum.
A handful of Senate Republicans followed our lead and reached out to ED and OMB encouraging them to get this funding out the door.
The Trump Administration froze over $5 million in federal education funds owed to schools in CA-49. My team immediately reached out to every impacted district to understand the consequences—and what we heard is alarming.
We need to rein in monopolists & other huge corporations that price gouge all of us. For too long, the American people have suffered under the thumb of out-of-control corporate power.
Proud to join @warren.senate.gov, @baldwin.senate.gov & @schakowsky.house.gov in introducing a bill to fight back.
Important op-ed by former UT Chancellor Admiral Bill McRaven, who rightly warns that firing diplomats and dismantling USAID jeopardizes our national security.
As the military leader who oversaw the Bin Laden raid, Admiral McRaven knows about keeping Americans safe.
“Every American who saw the story and the exposé that you all did on Dave Crete and the Area 51 veterans should be angry, it should make them want to demand that our government does something. I think we need to move more quickly than we are.” - RM @repmarktakano.bsky.social

House Republicans voted in the middle of the night to make Elon Musk’s DOGE cuts to healthcare, medical research, and food assistance permanent. Instead of standing up for the families they represent, they’re chasing Trump’s approval and leaving their constituents behind.
Some good news: I was able to help pressure the Trump Administration to release blocked funds for after school and summer education programs.
Now release the rest of the illegally withheld education grants, too.
- Immigrants detained at FDC Miami are denied information on the status of their cases and have difficulty placing calls to legal counsel and family members.
- Immigrants have limited opportunities to report complaints of abuse or neglect.
- Fear and chaos are key tools of Trump’s mass deportation agenda, with detained immigrants dreading transfer to remote detention facilities far from their families and lacking information about their cases.
- Immigrants at FDC Miami face obstacles accessing basic services and are forced to endure unsanitary conditions.
- Bureaucratic red tape makes it nearly impossible for immigrants to access adequate mental health care at Krome.
- The Trump Administration’s ill-conceived mass deportation plan has resulted in the use of BOP facilities where the conditions force detainees to live in de facto solitary confinement.
- Immigrants struggle to receive adequate health care because staff fail to take medical concerns seriously.
- The Trump Administration’s mass deportation agenda is resulting in dangerous levels of overcrowding, deteriorating conditions at facilities like Krome.
- ICE was ill-prepared to address overcrowding caused by the large influx of detainees and has resorted to using large tents to house people.
We know now more than EVER before: Immigration detention is at a crisis point.
HERE is the news Sen. DURBIN just broke after staff visited two more ICE detention facilities.
A THREAD.
The U.S. has been at the forefront of developing life-saving drugs. But under the Trump Admin, our leadership is slipping.
Slashing NIH & FDA funding means fewer new cures, longer wait times, & more lives at risk.
I am fighting every day to stop Trump’s attacks on science before it's too late.
Mayor Rourke is right. Lowell deserves the replacement of the Rourke Bridge. We’ve deserved it for 40+ years.
I’m proud to deliver over $250 MILLION to finally get it done and look forward to when the federal government returns to making these critical investments in our communities.
Signed ✊
Because of President Trump’s tariff taxes and Republican cuts to federal healthcare programs, hardworking families will see hikes to their healthcare costs moving forward.
So much for lowering costs for the American people.

Pretty much, but why focus on a Democratic politician actively doing things? 😀
I'm proud to stand up for Georgia’s students and for families across America.
Today’s decision is a triumph for children who rely on these programs to learn, grow, and succeed.
Every child, no matter their ZIP code, deserves access to a high-quality education.
