On March 5, 1963, country music star Patsy Cline was killed in a plane crash in Camden, Tennessee. Cline was only 30 years old. Hawkshaw Hawkins, Cowboy Copas, & manager Randy Hughes were also killed.

Sadly, Patsy Cline's original master tapes & material were destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.

Whether primary ballots set aside in two Texas counties will be counted remains uncertain Voters who cast ballots during extended polling place hours in Dallas and Williamson counties are waiting to see if their votes will count.

We must change the law to ensure that what happened in Dallas and Williamson County never happen again.

I ran for public office back in 2022. I ran unopposed in the Democratic Primary only to lose in the General Election in November. I was outspent 3 to 1 but I managed to hold my own and gave the incumbent a run for his money.

I've known first hand the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat...

There will be a Democrat runoff for Congressional District 17 between Milah Flores and Casey Shepard. J. Gordon Mitchell, aka Jim MacKay came in third.

Whoever wins the runoff will have to face Congressman Pete Sessions. He ran in the GOP unopposed.

The numbers are in Democrats outvoted the GOP in Williamson County!

Democrats = 64,950
GOP = 52,831

My dearest hope is for her to defeat Ted Cruz when his term is up and send him someplace warm, maybe Cancun, forever.

The WilCo Republican Party would not work with the Democratic Party to have a joint primary election on Election Day where we could share the voting sites and equipment. So there were many more voting locations for each party and precinct.

* Because the WilCo Republican Party demanded we go back to precinct level voting. Their reason? "Because we can!"

* Each party had to determine how to consolidate precincts for their chosen party voting site.

Why did so many people go to the wrong polling location?

Because the state didn’t allow Williamson county to issue new Voter Registration Cards and there were many precincts redrawn in January.

A runoff in Texas. Wonderful news for Democrats.

It's Election Day in Texas. Please be nice to your Election Workers. We didn't make the laws (photo ID, asking if your address has changed, or having to vote in a specific polling location), we just have to follow them. Be kind - we're doing the best we can with what we got.
