Critical reflection on social design (e.g., Julier and Kimbell's 2019 Design Issues paper) might be useful too, especially as social design and architecture are increasingly integrated into urban resilience planning (Rebuild by Design and 100 Resilient Cities are good cases here).

Not sure what was included in the design ethics syllabus, but Lauren Williams' 2019 Design and Culture paper is fantastic. So too are recent edited books (OA) from Claudia Mareis and colleagues on critical design studies; a lot of relevant architecture cases in those collections.

I’ve seen introductions with previous jobs (me: fast food, warehouse picker, house painter, warehouse ordering). I'm also a father, so I wanted to share about my son. He has the biggest smile, loves outer space, soccer, video games, cooking, and wants to be an astronomer or video game designer.
