Another first for me, I’ve joined a book club! The book selected was My Favourite Mistake by @marian_keyes It was a chunky book which I literally completed last night. They were a lovely bunch & tea and biscuits were shared. What I already love is that it’s MAKING me set aside time to read #bookclub

It’s the only 2 weeks of the year that I’m off work and we don’t travel! Instead we stay home and embrace the magic locally. As we head into our last weekend before school and work start again I’m grateful for this precious time and look forward to a year of making memories - Happy New Year #travel

My dad was a lawyer, he moved to Hong Kong in the 80’s with the CPS but ended up a defence barrister. He then gave it up to travel around Asia, mainly the Philippines and Thailand where he ended up as a lecturer of law at a university. He was VERY much happier out of the office 😊
