Hard agree. I know of three people who’ve deferred indefinitely trips to the US out of concern for their (relatively mild) ranting on social media.

I love the US. I’ve got family there. Zero chance of me travelling there for the foreseeable future.

Sorry about your Mum but glad that it sounds like you’re out the other side on a few fronts.

It’s alright. Just work on the NHS front (tough times) plus it feeling a tad tricky on the small hospitality business front with being the main carer for my increasingly frail 90 year old Dad for a little added spice.

I have indeed been a rare sighting for the last couple of years. I’ve been back doing a few shifts recently but I’ve got my Harry over there working today. Unbelievably he’s nearly 17 (which makes me feel very, very old).

I’m here lurking! To be honest I’m rarely doing socials on any medium these days. We keep things ticking over on IG from a ‘shop’ perspective but everyone’s been spared my random utterings for ages now.

Obviously enormously disappointed now.

Warm words of feedback from 13 Mums let loose for a night suggest that it has passed the essential ‘not shit’ test 😃

I have been dubbed ‘Chuck’ after the all time greatest male action hero.

I shit you not, it started a wave of middle-aged male gym introductions. There’s a dozen blokes in here who’ve been chatting for years without knowing each others names.

There’s a guy in my gym who I’ve been happily chatting to three times a week for two years.

Today told each other our names.
