Mario feels like Mickey Mouse to me, now. A once beloved icon that has become the face of corporate creative stagnation.

I don't have anything against it, I'm more just annoyed by my own luck.
Man, why did Slay the Spire 2 have to come out NOW!? The most interesting roguelite I've played comes out and the sequel to one I thought was just pretty good devours the hype around it almost completely. It's all so tiresome.
Yeah, it's hard to get used to. I eventually did, but man it takes a while.
Whatever is easy, but also really tasty. It's easier to get enthusiastic about eating when what you're making is super good. Frying some chicken breasts and eating them with frozen veggies is great. Getting better at cooking rules, cause the better you are, the more you're immediately rewarded.
He's been benched the whole time. I've been willing to overlook a lot of more minor issues with One Piece, but this is just heart-breaking.
They've had Usopp on the cuck chair for this entire arc, man.
Jagganoth then won and made the world super cool, and everyone was happy. The End.
Or Minnesota? Both?
Wisconsin Naruto: "..., don'cha know?"
It can feel a bit extreme, but I feel myself acclimating to it.
The more I play Mewgenics, the more convinced I am that I am going to continue for another 3k hours over the next few decades.
Beyond that, the visual identity of it feels really uninspired, as well. I just don't see why it still carries the same appeal when you consider these issues on top of all of the mediocre game design.
I think it's that the characters clash with the environment. It feels like there's no real cohesion to the visual style any more.
Modern Pokemon feels like a knock-off in a way I can't describe.
Mewgenics is the hole that is made for me.
ConceptVerb games.
I completely missed the tutorial about how cat stats are passed on because I misread it as a joke about their appearance. I'm so dumb. lmao
Woolie's gonna find a way to talk about this on the podcast for longer than any other topic.
Could we get a singular, big, Yoko Taro written and directed game some time this decade?
I just don't really care about Evangelion, man.
I don't think I can choose, they all keep blowing me away.
Every new Mewgenics track blows me away. Just finished the domain, and man that's a fun boss theme.
Oh yeah, it's all coming together. #gamedev #gameart
I enjoy those runs for the challenge. I just eked by on what felt like my most disastrous run ever, and it felt incredible.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. One of the most frequent mistakes people make is more = better.
Focus, R.
30 is fine outside of the need for fast reaction times and smooth, seamless inputs. Action games, rhythm games, and any UI control should always be 60, for example. It's not really that 30 looks bad, it's just insufficient for providing a necessary degree of tactile input.
I'm partial to stacked girls of any persuasion, but not enough to use tik tok. lol
I don't think I can think of a single issue from Isaac that carried over to Mewgenics. It's astounding how polished this game is from every angle. This could end up being my favorite tactical rpg, which if you've listened to my ranting about FFT, you know that's an enormous statement.
