Next week's meeting of EU foreign ministers marks one year since they committed to review the critical raw minerals deal with Rwanda, backer of the abusive armed group M23 in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
It's still pending today.

Despite repeated public exposure, criminal investigations, and sanctions directed at Intellexa and its senior executives, the recently discovered attacks in Angola and in Pakistan show that Predator remained operational until 2025 and in other unknown countries.
This highly invasive spyware is fundamentally incompatible with human rights. Once installed, Predator spyware can gain total access to data stored on or transmitted from a target’s device including encrypted messaging apps, emails, device locations, contacts & call logs.
The spyware attack was delivered via WhatsApp messages by an unknown contact who repeatedly contacted Teixeira Cândido during his time as the Secretary General of the Syndicate of Angolan Journalists.
