Rainy Sunday morning is a good time to complete the Woodside-Shearwater active transportation survey! It ends April 15.
The survey is straightforward and doesn't require you to analyze the proposal in detail... but I did that before looking at the survey, so here are my quick thoughts. 1/4

Halifax Transit have updated the bus stop on Inglis across from SMU with features for blind and partially-sighted folks. Includes a new mid-block crossing. They'll be having some engagement sessions at the stop Mar 27 and Apr 9.
Couple updates:
Woodside/Shearwater AT public engagement session Apr 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the South Woodside Community Centre (5 Everette Street, Dartmouth). There will also be a survey posted Apr 1.
No real updates in the last week. But a reminder that the Midtown AAA Bikeways and social media surveys close on Monday.

Functional Planning: timelines have been pushed back. Previously ended with "Presentation to Regional Council for Approval (Early 2025)," now Fall 2025.
Halifax Grain Elevator: public comment period has been extended until Friday, March 7, 2025 at 4pm.
Other recent changes:
Planning Applications: PLANAPP 2024-00458, Zzap Consulting Ltd. is requesting, on behalf of the property owner, requesting to amend the existing development agreement for the Brunello Links to enable a 'Nordic/Wellness Spa' as a permitted use within the golf course.
