In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.

The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

I was also going through a really intense depression and it just stopped me from doing anything. But now that I’m on the path to healing , that I’ve stopped the meds and I’m slowly starting to enjoy life again, I’m telling myself this is the moment to start over from scratch. 💪🏼

I realize that these past few years, i didn’t share any music because I was ashamed of it. I thought my music had reached a certain level of quality and that I couldn’t go backwards. Who even cares?? 😭

I just want to make music because I enjoy it. I dont care of how it might be perceveied.

I’m heading back home to France today. These past few days of introspection in Turkey have done me so much good.

I told myself that from now on, I’m going to share a lot more music expecting nothing in return. Without being ashamed of it. 🫶🏼❤️

Honestly, my account is still open there. I have a big upcoming song to promote, but after that I’m not going to be active on it anymore. I’ve lost pretty much all my contacts anyway.

And I already feel so much better here. This place feels so much safer and warmer. ❤️🫶🏼

Now everything runs on buzz… whoever can make the most shocking, divisive tweet wins. 😵‍💫

Everything turns into a debate (spoiler: some topics don’t even deserve a single comment, let alone a debate ngl)

And the cherry on top is Elon Musk’s AI creating horrible things from photos of real people… 😷

X has become the worst social network for artists, and i say that without any hesitation. I’m not trying to become “popular” and I never have, but the fact that I can’t even see my friends tweets anymore (even though they follow me) and they can’t see the music I share… it’s just so sad.
