Wow. I just checked his stats. He peaked in year 2 of the Kraken, and the fall off has been dramatic. Points have gone from 35 - 16 - 17 - 5 - 2 (so far). Yeah, seems like there must be something going on. 🥺

Yeah, I'm a softie. I want all the guys, past and present, to be living their best lives all the time. I hope whatever it is that he's able to get it squared away.

It was fun watching Harry Ford play for GBR and Andres Munoz, Randy Arozarena, and former Mariner Rowdy Tellez playing for Mexico in the WBC. Well done, Mexico on the 8-2 win!

How fun that the guy calling the WBC game between Mexico and Great Britain is just as excited at the sight of (Mariners All Star reliever) Andres Munoz coming out of the bullpen as Mariners fans are!

Oof. Ms lose to the Padres 27 to 6? There are some good things from this game. 1. Lots of guys got to try to hit and pitch. 2. Tons of teaching tape. 3. Statistically, it's very unlikely they'll ever have a game this lopsided again this season. 4. We'll be happy when the boys are back. 5. It's over.

Seems like our pitchers have struggled too. The wind can't pick it up and carry it if it's not hit! It's nice, though, not really being too worried. Spring training, etc.

Oof. I know it's just spring training and all, and a bunch of guys are gone to the WBC, but... the Padres have scored 10 on the Mariners? In one inning? I think I'll just leave the volume down on the game for now...

Also, I am more than a little happy the Kraken didn't suffer an empty netter. We should have a rule that the only empty netter scores are on Kraken opponents.

So there's reporting that AI has been heavily used to identify targets in the Trump/Hegseth attack on Iran. One of the first targets hit killed innocent school girls. You don't get to pin responsibility for war crimes on the targeting tool you chose to use. And tell me again how wonderful genAI is?
