We've had issues with that before. They need a special small bin lorry that sometimes breaks down

We've complained in the past when they just stopped coming because "there was a car parked in the way" but this is just the one. I think they were rushing & saw it wasn't full so didn't bother. If it were full or had smelly stuff in I'd complain but given it's only half full I'll leave it this time

I like pate but I'd need to buy the tiny ones that afaik you can only get from Morrisons

They've emptied the others though. Best I can think of is there were 3 bins in the group, the lorry empties 2 at once, they did 2 but didn't bother with the third

Every day just now the world is throwing up more things to frustrate and annoy me. I suppose it's bothering me more because my resilience is low just now.
Still, I'll get dressed, make myself a coffee and crack on

TBH I was only going to have that one because it was older than the one I really wanted. I'd bought it for Michael & it just never got eaten

But when they get grumpy they find tiny excuses not to come & empty the bins in our bit of the village at all because it's a bit of a pain to get to

I went to get a ready meal out & saw it was from June 2024!! Hence I discovered my bin wasn't emptied yesterday. All the others were 😠

Went to put something in the bin & discovered the bin men didn't empty it yesterday. It was put out, it's not full, there's no contraband in it. *grumps* Do I report it or just leave it for another 2 weeks?

I do freeze quite a lot of stuff, though at the moment I'm trying to use up stuff that's been in there for a while

I actually made a cheese toadtie using the toaster bag I just remembered. It's nice but a bit facfier than I really wanted

I'm genuinely stunned that people want to go there. Mind you Ive never understood the hot sun/pool thing anyway

I think anybody who goes on holiday to Dubai has brought it on themselves. Especially those with vulnerable family members. It's a hypocritical society that panders to the rich & exploits poor workers. I do feel sorry for those just passing through to elsewhere
And yes the FO response is dreadful

There's now a woman on telly who was stranded there after going on a 5 day holiday before starting chemo.
Is going on holiday to Dubai a thing amongst ordinary people?
I wouldn't dream of it. If I could afford to go there I'd go somewhere interesting

I like cheese on toast but don't have a sensible grill so I microwave it to melt it & the toast goes soggy
