The Yow banana was also cat approved and not only interested all 3 cats, but was more interesting than the Temptations. Definitely something we'll need more than one of.
Got a few extras with the Chewy order. We're trying out the Temptations lickable treats and the Yow banana catnip toy. Found out the Temptations are cheaper than the Churu because they're smaller, but Momma and Cloud both approve. Stripes continues to be the only cat I know that doesn't like them.
Huh. Apparently I have shingles. I thought it would hurt more.

It was a garder snake. Decent size too, but Cloud is relentless about anything and everything that comes into "his" house. He's even bigger than his mom now so he thinks he's the boss.

Tonight's project. I unfortunately overworked it with the blow-dryer because I kept seeing gaps even after stretching. I'm afraid I didn't let enough paint run off, but it's chilly enough outside that the paint seized up early. Hopefully the Floetrol will do its job.
The State denied the City's payday loan and the budget meeting the Library was supposed to speak at got cancelled. So we're back to not knowing if we'll get paid for the rest of the year after Friday's check.

We caught Cloud about to jump up here to curl up with Momma. Because I said something, he had to walk off and pretend that isn't what he wanted to do. He doesn't like anyone to know he's still a Mommy's boy.

He gets home and calls my phone, but it won't ring. Oh dang I must have dropped it hard enough to shut off. He searches, and finds it on actually. It slipped between a handful of anti-static bags in a box of shipping stuff. Zero missed calls.
My left ankle can hold weight so it's not broken! Cool. Now I can grab what I came out here for, find my phone, and go inside. The phone flew out of my hand, so I am pretty sure it fell in some of the boxes nearby but I don't see it. Les isn't home so he can't call it. Hmm guess I need to wait.
My phone teleported out of my hand and flew somewhere while the rest of me finally got the message that gravity has switched directions now and we're going with it, cursing all the way. As I try to figure out what just happened in the last 15 seconds, I pull myself up to my feet.
Y'all I swear my tombstone will be hilarious one day. I slipped on some bubble wrap in the garage. Normally I can catch myself, but apparently my left ankle decided it's been too long since it went out on me, so it said "fuck you" and I slammed into the concrete and on to my right knee.

The hubby bought a bag of plums yesterday. The fruit were all nicked, bruised, and at the very beginning of overripe. I washed and peeled all of them, then depitted and put the in the fridge. Just grabbed some to put in a bowl with the Tillamook ice cream he found on sale. So yummy. Pic unrelated.
I hate calling out of work last minute, but I got horribly sick in the shower this morning. My wonderful hubby cleaned up and made a light breakfast while I have the nurse kitties checking on me. Hopefully I still have some sick leave to use.

Hey am I reading this wrong or does this new law say that if you have a concealed carry permit you can carry at a VoTech cause they're no longer "schools" (for the purpose of this law)? Related note... another law says that all highschools have to give students access to VoTech training.
