Its thorny yet vibrant nature is sometimes used in meditations to reaffirm commitment to tenacious spiritual growth, encouraging individuals to find light and thrive despite obstacles. It is a hardy, fast-growing climbing vine known for its intensely colourful papery bracts and vigorous growth, and which mostly blooms in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India during the months of November to May. Speaking of the video, Florence says, "I just made it on a whim. We went down to the woods and we only had one camera. I got my dad to put a clown costume on and my friend’s nephew to dress up as the baby clown while we decorated the woods. Dog walkers gave us the weirdest looks. It was really fun."
