Correct.
If you switch over at that point to the line in Shaun Of The Dead, when John the landlord tells a silhouette at the door, 'Sorry, we're closed!' then you can stretch out the end by an extra hour.
Sort of.
screenshot of the thumbnail image on Getty Images covering the event of Melania Trump addressing the UN Council in New York. A man in a suit is standing with his arms out stretched. Melania stands like a robot waiting to be activated.
This is just wild.
Top of the current Getty Images editorial page is coverage of the photo call at the UN council where Melania Trump - looking like Donald in drag - is calling for "peace through education..."
Also, suspect they wouldn't be going into Iran if Russia hadn't tied up its military resources in their own attacks on Ukraine. Trump and Putin letting each other get on with their own vanity projects.
He's allowed "defence" strikes of attacks leaving from Iran that enter into other territories. If the US attempts to make attacks into Iran from these bases then he can withdraw that permission and give a legal stance to do so. It feels icky, but it's looking to defend rather than participate.
Over 2/3 of the vote was not for Reform. If we pretend they had won by a slim margin, as originally forecast, this just shows what they really think of those who live in any given constituency they have no clear lead. This only increases the likelihood of tactical voting against them at the next GE.
Saw it last week & really enjoyed it. Funnily enough I was thinking there was a Dr Strangelove element to it. The level of tension was just right. Sound wise it's relentless. It's either all noise or all music. Also loved the touch of including the production catering's washer-upper in the credits.
Ghosts fillum you say...
This is like the aftermath of the UK getting nil points at Eurovision.
"It's not the song, other people just hate us. Wah wah wah!!!"
Rare clip of Eric Idle from Rutland Weekend Television...
An obvious rejection of Reform overall in a FPTP voting system but also the power of tactical voting. The final vote didn't have much between Labour and Reform, however the push to keep Reform out got many choosing a side. Greens won out on that. This is the template for the next General Election.
A smeg up.
Niche.
The Smeg-Ups VHS is an all time classic.
Briefly had the chance to chat Hattie Hayridge last month and say I was one of the small home audience to watch the very first episode on its first broadcast and she laughed how she wasn't one of them because she didn't know at the time she'd later be in it.
To be fair, it was surrounded by a lot of buildings and tightly packed streets in the 150 years following this painting, particularly in the late Victorian era. Much of them were destroyed in the blitz. Before 1940 it was actually much more hemmed in than today.

And then you'll develop 'Tote Shoulder' which comes with the sound of *oo-uu-ff* depending on contents.
Mandelson Fleethecountryson.
Kit Connor is such a big fan of the film Hot Fuzz that he went out on 22nd February as Sergeant Popwell.

It's not a privilege to have executive dysfunction and it was not a complaint. It was highlighting that some things are not simply binary choices.
Expecting someone neuro divergent to be able to carry out the action of writing alt text each time isn't ablest discrimination?
My point is that while it's something that helps one group - which of course should be aimed for when possible - it can be difficult for another group at the same time.
Literally just had an exchange with someone on here about the inability to please all of the people all of the time and this may well fit into a parallel category. Nothing - or at least very little - is free from some degree of corruption somewhere in the chain. Life in general is constant conflict.
