I cut a long poem apart and made it into three smaller ones. I feel a little unwell, like I vivisected the poor thing.

Got my kindergartner to try a kiwi by saying "pretend it's a slug and you have to eat it to stay alive in the harsh wilderness." What? You raise your kid. I'll raise mine.

It is a strange relief that I no longer have to squint at these goblins and wonder "stupid or evil" because they'll just come out and tell us! Phew. Stupid *and* evil.

The lawsuit concerning Zane Shamblin also states that, despite Zane not mentioning a bad relationship with his family, chat urged him not to mention his mental health struggles to them. NPR reported on another instance where a chatbot told a teenager that her parents were bad for her.

For example, when Adam Raine asked Chat GPT if he should leave a noose out to warn his parents that he was suicidal it urged him not to. When he again brought up that he was worried about his parents feelings it told him that he "did not owe them life."

I absolutely do not believe it is a big oopsie daisy mistake that ai chatbots use classic cult tactics like isolation, authoritative confidence, us-vs-them logic, and lovebombing. Companies haven't found a way to make ai profitable, so they'll need to manufacture a "need."

Of course it is! I'm having the same trouble on multiple devices.

This gave me a vision of myself as a chihuahua anti-hawk spiky vests, except for ai.

In the process, sure. If the product is causing the problems that's a different thing entirely.

Well, back then we thought people would make tech to improve the world. You know, solve problems instead of inventing them.

My conspiracy theory is that big tech is making searches and keyboards worse so we want to rely on ai.

Absolutely. Also a vacation from the marriage circuit.
