Pretty rubbish frame dropping in the handheld cameras for the 1975.. Though I don’t really know them and have 30 mins of Self Esteem still to watch - probably going back there - it was fantastic. Mainly watching for the UHD..
Unlikely as it’s not a stage covered normally unless there’s something really of note, then it’s often only shot with one camera for a feature.
Shed Seven just reminding everyone of just how amazing they are.. Saw them lots in the 90s including their only other #glastonbury appearance.
Sky’s Isle of Wight coverage is bonkers. They seem to choose the songs which contain the most swearing then have to put noise over half the song.. Case in point Paul Heaton’s Don’t Marry Her with the f**k me lyric every 20 seconds. Last night Example swore every line in the one song they showed.

Quite bonkers going to a Sparks gig and hearing songs which are half a century old but sound like they were written far more recently. Also nice - no pushing and shoving, and barely anyone drinking / pushing through to get to the bar.
Missed that (I was on a train to Wood Norton, then watching in a pub). Think it was probably the only useful thing from what I saw.. I was with a vendor earlier in the day and was kind of praying for a beefed up Apple TV which could make their tools even better, but never mind..

I’d disagree but also it’s not a great year in terms of the songs!
A few years ago it was £300,000 a year which for 3x 2-3 hour prime time slots - far cheaper than drama and most other shows.. But they’ve also got radio coverage and a fair bit of online / social too… No doubt a huge amount cheaper than sports rights..
40 years ago walking over Ilkley Moor back towards Bradford on a school camping weekend we saw a thick black tower of smoke rising from the city. That night we watched it on TV, could still smell the smoke in the air from 4 miles away, wondering whether anyone from school had died watching football.
Though just had an email from them saying “can you check your bags in - flight is busy”…
