I have this same problem with my characters, especially in DnD. I'll get super into the jokes and humor, that it gets lost that "this character isn't stupid. I am."

Iosef usually assumes the position of camp cook when Gale surrenders it. He often gathers foodstuffs while on the road, so he is a bit extra and varied with his offerings. Baked bread, several soups like beef & barley, mushroom stew, & minestrone, and dessert.

In Avarice and Vesper's case, they are father/daughter, so it makes sense they share many of the same attributes, but it seems for my main OCs that are not supporting cast, they have tiefling features and body length markings.

Iosef was in the middle of organizing the camp, singing to himself, when an auburn-haired stranger suddenly ran up to him and hugged him. He looks absolutely flummoxed. The man collapses, crying, and saying "Winter" & "Why are you cold?"

It's quite the scene.

Iosef's bhaalspawn portion, Kanon, was sickly and living on borrowed time with regular treatments and transfusions. Iosef was supposed to be his grand metamorphosis into something incredible, but the process was a failure, resulting in his current state of being.
