Cover of the Dartmoor Collective Flow zine - it's an abstract painting inspired by Dartmoor by artist Louise Bougourd- it resembles a bank of dark grey cloud with gold highlights flowing over the moor with a brighter patch of blue sky breaking through.

Colour photo by Jaiyana Chelikha- a female figure wearing a black headscarf stands alone on an area of open moorland - some sheep are visible behind, grazing through yellowish winter moorgrass and dead bracken. The colours of her clothing match that of the surrounding scene. Grey sky above.

A black and white image by Iain Murray of a still, dark pool in a high Dartmoor river - a bank of gravel is highlighted by the weak sun. The landscape beyond is hazy in mist. Some words by Kirsteen McNish appear on the page to the left of the image:

Daylight, a Skylark spirals
its song from gorse to cloud
- a tiny vortex rising like smoke
At night, under a full moon,
the wind sears into skin,
illuminating the flux
Swallowed, swaled,
a cacophony shaken
from an ancient dream

We're delighted to announce the publication of our new zine, Flow.
It's by far our best and biggest publication yet, featuring 60 pages of work from 35 Dartmoor visual artists exploring the theme of flow across a diversity of styles and mediums, interweaved with the words of writer, Kirsteen McNish.

In May we have an artists’ open house event in Brighton - it’s my favourite event! I’m showing this and other landscape paintings in a beautiful house in the village of Ovingdean. If you are in Sussex come and see us. If you’d like to see the paintings, please let me know.

Chalk cliffs, trillions of tiny bodies, layered and pulverised, the facts of geology giving us perspective. Well, some of us.

One of three paintings I made late last year about night gardens. They are strangely thin places. This is my father’s garden and the ghosts of the silver birches long gone - sometimes he’s still here, stooping among his plants

Taking bad selfies to publicise an interview for You Tube channel ArtbyArtists. It give a fascinating insight into artists’ lives and inspiration across media - I was delighted to be asked. (Photo taken by blutacking phone to window😬)

The day was heavy-lidded grey. Green drenched fields and the white house in the distance. A winter Sunday walk. #fineart #oilpainting #landscapepainting

Good morning bluesky. This painting is the South Downs in full spring and as I walk to the studio across the garden I see the shoots of narcissi pushing through the grass. The 12 days are over, the new days are here.
My annual painting sale has launched on my website/shop - this is one.

Thanks so much, that’s really helpful. Hoping to find more landscape enthusiasts and fine art communities here - I think it will build as a safe haven for creators and artists

A flurry of new paintings after the break - getting back into the studio slowly but first, there are tax returns to do and a passport renewal application and general admin. But at least these two are finished - appropriate for these January days, Flood land I &II, now on my webshop

Aw, bless you Finn. After reading your IG post earlier, I then read the news about dismissing the moderators. IG is my shop window so it's tricky. Anyway will come and see you - I'm long overdue a visit

Hi good people of Bluesky. Is it nicer here than it is over there? This is what I'm working on today - very big, very drippy, very exciting.
