I watched the Maryland Cycling Classic from ~7 different spots today and Roland & 36th in Hampden was my favorite.
This is the men's peloton on their third lap, bombing down Roland on their way back from Northern Parkway. Doing around 45mph here.
Saw a support minivan catch air on the 4th lap.
Yeah! Those streets are brutal.
Maybe the problem is I'm not sprinting over them?

Big difference from the elections we're used to is it was a ranked choice ballot rather than the more traditional first-past-the-post.

I've been training BJJ a little over two years, three times a week.
Progress for myself, on myself, feels really meaningful right now.
I recognize that I have a large amount of hubris, untenable even.
But even I know this will go so spectacularly poorly that the survivors are going to write books about it.
