you for-sure shouldn’t know that one of your friends at the table (now a wolf (a guy wolf)) has a hog the size of your forearm but some of your off-the-table roleplays were technically also canon
you shouldn’t know where the snapping line is or the name of the fishmonger or how much a crab cake costs or that the ones you’ve had there before tasted better in the fall but the information unconsciously came to you before you consciously realized you were hungry
not so much a takeover slash loss of self scenario as the part of you that’s cognizant of all these changes and the part of you that’s growing more comfortable in an increasingly familiar environment are at odds with each other
less “you got sucked into the game! haha aren’t games weird?” and more “reality is rewriting itself around you into your tabletop campaign and your friends are changing and your body is changing (into a fox (a girl fox)) and your thoughts are not entirely your own”
