Finally cleared my desk in my office this weekend and wrote the first chapter of 2 different book ideas I've had floating around my head.
It was a good weekend for progress!
Digimon was my highlight of that #StateofPlay. Looked cool. Looking forward to seeing more.

I use Prime Video so little these days because of the ads.
A few years back I was using it more than Netflix but it sure as heck isn't worth the extra money to go and free. If it wasn't bundled in with my Prime subscription I wouldn't miss it at all.
Realised that I'm going to be in Japan (and more importantly Osaka) in the first few weeks of the World Expo being open.
Has anyone ever been to a World Expo before? Are they fun/interesting?
I'm just hoping they stick to the dimensions and don't change it again. It's super annoying though that they'd randomly change it without really announcing it.
Some fans are saying in the comments "hey calm down we don't know what's going on" (which is fair) but most are calling them out for not even offering a basic apology.
I was going to finally see one of my favourite bands from my uni days next week and they announced a postponement in the most nonchalant way on social a week before the show without even an apology. I just straight up cancelled the tickets.

Got the entirety of How I Met Your Mother on DVD in a charity shop today for less than £1.
Won the lottery last night (£5 and a free lucky dip).
I really enjoyed Dandadan but it felt like it dipped towards the end of the season.
Also a very weird finale that doesn't feel like a finale, more a midseason break. Feel I've not watched an anime with a satisfying season 1 finale for a long time now 😅
Yeah I had held off doing it as it was impossible to matchmake and figured it can't be that important. Tried it out unsynced after finishing the new expansion and was kind of taken aback by how much the story being told seemed important.
Muddy Waters Too is an absolute banger of an album so far.

Luckily because it was a raid I could just play it all again but I basically picked the worst cutscene possible to accidentally skip. 😅
(This was an optional quest I finally decided to take the time to play through and I'm glad I did as it adds a hell of a lot of context).
I accidentally skipped a cutscene in FFXIV the other week and literally had the skip scene meme happen when all of a sudden the grandpa of 2 characters turned out to be a god I had to kill and I had no context to what was going on until I repeated it. 😅

Tbf from the theme song it is very clear that the time to jam to Cowboy Bebop is 1.
Luckily the bundle I already bought came with music and other useful things so it wasn't a complete waste of money.
Picked up a Humble Bundle with Sony Vegas and a years license earlier in the year and there's now one on the store which has a newer version of Sony Vegas (with other stuff) and I don't have to pay annual fees.
...so I guess I'll just buy the new bundle as well right? 😅
Just watched the funeral episode of Scrubs and it still feels like a gut punch no matter how many times I've seen it.
So it turns out I did find a better deal and, seeing as it had been almost a week and O2 hadn't shipped yet, I called them up, cancelled the order yesterday and went with ID. 24 month contract, £20 upfront and £30 a month for everything unlimited.
It arrived today. Now that's good service!
My gym has been getting steadily worse recently. Loads of broken equipment (sometimes the only one of its type) or equipment that half works
Couldn't justify spending £30 a month so cancelled. Going to start doing a home workout routine instead.

I think I'm finally going to cave and get a new phone. Can get a Pixel 9 Pro on contract for £30 month atm, which is cheaper than the contract I'm paying off for my standard Pixel 6.
I doubt I'll find a deal much better even if I wait.
I feel the worst possible thing to do would be ask people to be on the road that you're not going to use.
I also feel you can't just agree to let everyone go when they want to go if they have a contract as it sets up a system that can be abused.
Either way wrestling contracts are an odd one
