I placed my onions on the floor, under the window by the door. The layers of nuance caught their eyes, the day I won The Turner Prize

Good evening

Good fucking luck with that.

Just a reminder that the women's test between Australia and India is on now on BBC Sports Extra and TNT4. Bonus of my late running train means I get to listen more.

Me too - a defeat.

Well, it was similar

The reality for Spurs is they’ve been soundly beaten by a team that were very low in confidence themselves. With Forest and West Ham playing well, Spurs are now probably favourites to fill that last relegation spot. Liverpool and Forest next in the league.

Ive thought this about Spurs before - they’re either really passive or completely raging (eg Romero, Porro Simons). They can’t get the balance.

Porro taken off (possibly only thing Tudor’s done right tonight) before being sent off. Been absolutely raging all night.

I’m going 2-5, Johnson to come on and score, Porro to get sent off and Tudor to get sacked tonight.

Loads of us watching Spurs play like we might stare at a motorway crash wondering if it will get worse.

Oh I know- love watching them and such a shame they keep losing their best players.

Things he’s said to the media haven’t done him any favours. Players look shot of confidence and are considerably worse than under Frank.

Igor Tudor’s been in charge for 20 days.

Always weird hearing pundits and commentators saying β€˜Tottenham are too good to go down’ because they clearly haven’t been watching them play.

Unbelievable- don’t think he knew the rules.

Well, it wasn’t lost there. Brook’s drop shocking and costly.

What an unbelievable innings from Bethell. Wonder if he’s the youngest to hit a test, one-day and t20 century? Certainly making India sweat.

Drives me nuts

I know but I couldn’t quite believe what the Head said. Amazing.

What made this even more ridiculous was that they’d cocked up their schedule and I had about four hours of β€˜nothing’ where they said I could leave if I wanted before returning for the interview. Thought I’d show willing and stay on site reading. They didn’t like that.

For World Book day I’m remembering the time I didn’t get a job in a school because (first point on feedback) β€˜you looked too relaxed and were reading a book in the staff room.’ I followed up with β€˜don’t you like reading in this school?’ which surprisingly didn’t change their mind.

What you going for?

Friend introduced me to him 25 years ago- he’s got something different - real charisma. Have taught β€˜Ice Cream Man’ to most classes Ive taught.

I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt but David Walliams is the icing on the cake.

1) Him saying β€˜guitar!’ when it’s already only him playing the guitar 2) His ridiculous hand-waggling for no reason 3) The frown during the solo- half β€˜fuck yeah’ half β€˜oops.’ Worthy of Eric Morecambe.
