Full-colour digitally painted illustration depicting some history of Aloalo Island and Kalika's journey to save it. In an arc around the left, bottom, and right sides overlapping a decorative frame is Statice the Long-Lost Faerie, a quaqua, and Ketuduke. In the background are depictions of Loquloqui serenely holding a red gemstone and flanked by green vegetation and yellow flowers, mist-laden mountains still visible on Aloalo today, a turbulent ocean with floundering ships, ice floes from the Fifth Calamity, and a gradual shift to calmer waters where a lone coconut floats. I couldn't get my entry in for the #FFXIVFanFest contest so sharing it now. ~9h of work almost entirely in a single day. Normally this would get 1-2 more passes before I call it done but this is as much as it's going to get.

My laptop struggle hard with krita which is why im hesitating to try csp in the first place 😭

For more than 4 years i have been technically using a "fancy version of microsoft paint" LOL

It does help on detailing process but when it comes to performance/speed wise, it's extremely slower than the brushes in CSP

The reason is because im kinda tired of using a hard brush, only relying on opacity and color picker for shading/blending colors is such a tiresome.

my specs :

GTX 1650ti 4GB
16GB dual channel DDR4
i5 10th gen

i actually been using CSP on my galaxy tab for about a year now, but it's mostly just for sketching. so i'm already quite familiar with its interface

sigh, i might need to give up on using medibang paint pro (free version) at some point.

been thinking about getting CSP for my laptop but not quite sure whether if it's gonna run smoothly in 4K canvas resolution, especially in full rendered project with over 50+ layers.
