Find it very hard to sympathise with any sort of republican nowadays, but I do like the smile on his face while he's telling the story.

Makes hime slightly more likeable. Or less dislikeable. I know, it's a very very very low bar to get over concerning him, doesn't take much. Yet he himself never manages to get over it
"It was not Hitler or Himmler who abducted me, beat me, and shot my family. It was the shoemaker, the milkman, the neighbour-who recieved a uniform and then believed they were the master race. -Karl Stojka, Auschwitz survivor
While still enjoying SHOCKINGLY high support in the polls...
One million years in the future, some animals are grazing. One asks the other: "Remember humans? -No"
Kinda feel everywhere is like that now, some places just worse.
This brings me a wierd sense of peaceπ
A local company built a hockey rink here. When there wasn't money for the kids to do an event, they stepped in again, as they had several times. Because they could, not because they expected something worth more to them in return.
I like companies that aren't evil, Google.
Who whould have thought...As with Ukraine and with economic deals, they've demonstrated time and time again that the USG words mean nothing.
Like making deals with the village drunk who doesn't remember what he said 5 mins ago and is also a mean drunk who blames you for everything he's done.
Weβve had more than a decade to listen to Donald Trump talk now and if you are making large financial decisions based upon off-the-cuff responses he gives to questions then someone should cut off your ability to trade
Protecting pedophiles and justifying killing muslim girls. And so many other fucked up things. This is the American Republican Party now.
Gone is anything that even resembles decent.
They are the NSDAP now. They represent the American Fascism. They can never be rehabilitated.
#BurnItDown
I loved it once in my lifeπ
Some strange speciality restauranr. A lot of butter was likely involvedπ
Unfortunately no. Have had way less time for games than I would like lately...last few years... I live through you!π
Oh well, the point to my daughter still stands π It could have been fun and at least it wasn't broccoli π
Like I tell my daughter, well done for tryingπ
What was it that generally didn't work out?
God.."no mum, noooo!"
Lol, just after 5am, my reading game is apparently not on pointπ Completely misread this at first!
Generally post about things that upset or amuse me, but I do like statistics and the why of things. And a whole load of stupid commentsπ
But that's why they've bought all the memory, four times over!π
Feck me, didnt even consider such things...argh. Not that there was ever any chance, but I'm definitely not working on a ship nowπ€£
Those fields are some broad ass fields, even Arnold in his prime would have been jealous π
Guess I work in "computer and math", whatever that isπ
Annoying as hell that we don't all switch at the same time. 2-3 weeks of chaos with meetings. It's awkward enough when you deal with an organisation that spans all time zones without itπ
The first one there is really inspirational and should be required to own by every dumbass dad/politician worried about their completely irrelevant lineage or such.
These people seem to belong to a certain type of people everywhere and desperately need to get over themselvesπ
I get around 6 hours..π It's pitch black when I leave for work and get home for ages regardless. Reverse winter time wouldn't really change how I perceive the mornings, but would give me some sunlight in the afternoon that I actually notice for most of the winterπ Can't imagine living further northπ
Hmmm, maybe the rest of the world has finally caught up to fashion shows then, cos that feel on brand for the general state of things.
They keep talking about doing so here as well, but it never happens. Personally I'd like a reverse winter time. As it is now it does feck all good, dark when you leave and dark when you get home anyway. In reverse it would let people get some sunlight when they get home, apart from right at xmas.
The one thing I'm thankful for not having to deal with on a daily basis. I feel your painπ₯Ί And I'd hold that grudge to the graveπ€
Think that's just known as a fashion show π
Yeah....it's fun isn't it?π« Superpower my ass. Yeah, I can spend ages on something until it's done without getting bored in a way others couldn't stand. But it has to be something that stimulates me and I don't decide what does. Also doesn't mean I do it efficiently. All while feeling bad about it.
I spent weeks trying to set a mirror in a car. Couldn't do it while driving, only saw it while driving, the mirror stopped existing when the engine went offπ
Spent 15 mins trying to remember a GF's name 3 months after it ended.
Carry a Remarkable around at work, cos I sure as hell won't remember π
My adhd brain has quite enough with myselfπ
Tested a thing I designed the other day. Had done a thing in Excel to predict displacement and force in a gas spring depending on gas pressure, impact mass and impact speed. Expected the real thing to be slightly stiffer from some extra friction. Real thing was slightly stiffer π¬ Who needs Ansysπ
People look at me funny when I say that I can lie in bed and start up Excel to amuse myself on a weekendπ
That is really not a bad idea π
Some familiarity, a sign that you care, that they're welcome and some light hearted language information. Thank youπ
Thanks for your time, unfortunately I really have to do a bit of work now. Bleh.
People from the UK tend to get more than they bargained for when they ask me how things are π
They'll fit right in. Most of my experience of the Dutch comes from people I've met while camping. Every single one has been lovely and very compatible in terms of habits π
