Fiona’s sixth birthday. Each year I make her a hat with a theme. This year is “6K Gold B-Day”. Used the CineGold filter from PolarPro (almost like that’s why I picked it up…)

Early morning rain gave way to a rainbow on the way to work. Wish my camera was with me.

I have also discovered lenses are like guitars. You want more than you need, they all have their purpose, and are addicting.

Today I learned about “tell the story in 3 shots” so I tried a few at home. I really like this concept and will work it into my compositions. After all these years of taking snapshots, I’ve decided to get serious. Also older… it’s low impact exercise, lol!

Dropped a brand new lens today 🤦‍♂️Barely had it a month. Here’s the last shots I took with it. I was testing a white mist filter I just picked up. Fern, Peter, Izzy,& Fiona - my perfect models. Sony A6100, 25mm, F/2.

Glacier National Park July 2022. We took Amtrak and stayed in East Glacier. Beautiful area. However, there was a murder outside the hotel we stayed at and we both got Covid for the 1st time while there.

But I love this shot.

Nice shot of a fire department connection. These are used to supplement the existing water supply for the fire suppression system in the building. Mostly used on tall building where gravity works against water pressure.

A quick visit to the hometown on the Scout and took the camera with. Lots of shots with the Polar Pro Light Leak lens. Still learning how to properly expose and get the right shot.

F# on the 8th. I played a 6 string baritone for a bit (B to B) but it have active pickups, which I don’t care for, and the scale length/tension made it not fun to play. The *strandberg multi-scale length is great. I have both the 8 and a 6.
