Stop living for your parents & for other people and start living for yourself. Saying that you can’t do “xyz” bc it would disappoint other people, is you willingly giving away your power and allowing others to control you. Cut it out

And 9/10 the ppl who I see that are in this situation are the most spoiled coddled people in the world. I’m sorry mommy & daddy won’t pay for everything if you don’t “go be a doctor” knowing full well you’re the last person meant to be a doctor

This is gonna sound harsh but so many ppl have no backbone or drive for themselves. People with no support whatsoever put themselves through college, or trade school, or get a job to make a living and live for themself

I think it’s absolutely insane the amount of ppl I knew in college & see today, studying and pursuing a career path they can’t stand, because that’s what their parents will support. I’m sorry is your mom & dad gonna clock into the job that makes you want to unalive everyday?
