On this day in 1944, a 9 year old Dutch Jewish boy arrived at Auschwitz with his sister (11) after likely being betrayed in hiding. They were both murdered in the gas chamber after selection. Their parents survived the Shoah. His name was Abraham Beem

On this day in 1925, a Czech Jewish girl was born. On the 16 Oct 1941 she was deported to the Łódź Ghetto were she perished on the 6 Mar 1943. Her mother also perished, date unknown. Her older sister survived the Shoah. Her name was Bertina Fischlová

On this day in 1944, a 9 year old Austrian Jewish girl, refugee living in the Netherlands, was murdered on her birthday in the gas chamber at Auschwitz. Her parents had perished in the camp in Jan 1943. Her name was Gerda Sophie Klein

On this day in 1942, a 38 year old Polish man perished in Auschwitz after being incarcerated for 3 months and 8 days. Before being imprisoned he was a car mechanic. His name was Romuald Słodkowski
